How Reid’s Came to Be

The company’s beginnings go back more than 40 years:

●     In 1947, brothers Melville, George, and Albert Reid, along with their friend, Bill Lang, began building wartime bungalows.
 
●     By the 1970s, Orin Reid, our founder, entered the business to work with his dad, George.

●     By 1978, Orin and his wife established Reid’s Heritage Homes.

●     To this day, the company continues to be family-owned and operated.

We’ve been proudly developing homes that range from single detached, two-storey, executive, and bungalow homes, to mid-rise condos, custom estates, and active adult communities.

The dedication to our values and tradition has established us as an award-winning developer, with dozens of awards and accolades to our name.
